Siri Gets Smarter: With Apple Intelligence, Siri can now provide answers using data from multiple apps. For example, it can help you prepare for a meeting by giving you the time and location from your calendar, summarizing a prep document from your email, and informing you about the weather so you know how to dress.
AI-Generated Emojis: Apple Intelligence will enable users to create emojis with text prompts in iMessage and generate non-photorealistic images for conversations.
OpenAI Partnership: Apple will allow users to use OpenAI's ChatGPT for questions better suited to its technology. This integration will work directly from Apple devices, without a ChatGPT account.
Hidden Apps: New privacy features for the iPhone will let users "lock" certain apps so they can only be opened with Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode. Users can also "hide" apps so they don't appear on the home screen, and their media won't appear elsewhere on the device.
Real-Time Call Transcripts: iPhone users can now record and create transcripts of calls directly from the phone app. All parties on the call will be notified when recording is in progress.
Gesture Controls for AirPods: New gesture controls allow users to answer or decline calls with a nod or shake.
Apple Watch Health Monitoring: New vital sign tracking on the Apple Watch can notify users of potential illness based on signals such as body temperature and heart rate.
