On her 18th birthday, the daughter of actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt filed paperwork to legally remove "Pitt" from her name.
Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt submitted a petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court on May 27 to change her name to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie, as reported by the Los Angeles Times.
Born on May 27, 2006, in Swakopmund, Namibia, Shiloh is the third eldest of the former couple's six children. Her siblings are Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and twins Knox and Vivienne.
Shiloh, who voiced a character in "Kung Fu Panda 3," is the first among the siblings to petition for a legal name change. However, some of her siblings have already stopped using their father's last name publicly in recent years, according to the Times.
Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in September 2016, though the details have yet to be finalized. The actors, married in August 2014, have since been involved in legal disputes over their shared business ventures and properties, including a winery in France, the Times reported.
